We’re excited to welcome you to the University of South Dakota! Whether you're looking for a quick overview or a full-day deep dive, our visit options are designed to help you experience life as a Coyote and learn more about our academic programs, campus community, and admissions process.

Coyote Visit Days
Coyote Visit Days are designed with flexibility in mind, giving you the chance to choose the sessions that matter most to you. Explore academic programs, student organizations and campus life through a variety of presentations and interactive experiences. Each event runs from 8:15 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., beginning with check-in on the second floor of the Muenster University Center (MUC). After an opening session, you'll have the opportunity to attend sessions of your choice, take a campus tour, enjoy lunch, and browse an information fair.

Fall Open House
This event is a full-day experience that includes an admissions and scholarships overview, academic sessions, a majors fair and campus tour options. You'll also get a taste of Coyote gameday spirit by ending the day at the DakotaDome to cheer on the Coyotes football team!* The event begins with check-in and the Academic Majors Fair at the MUC from 8:30 to 9:45 a.m., followed by sessions and tours until 12:45 p.m. Kickoff is at 1:00 p.m. A complimentary continental breakfast and lunch are provided.
*A limited number of free student tickets to the football game are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Additional tickets may be purchased. More details will be shared ahead of the event.

Saturday Campus Visits
Saturday Visits offer a concise and informative introduction to USD. These visits include an admissions overview, a presentation from an academic department and a guided campus tour led by our Student Ambassador Scholars. It’s a great way to get a feel for campus in a small group setting.
